In 2016, 40+ Kansas Citians sampled the thriving contemporary Chinese art scene, toured iconic cultural and historical sites in and around Beijing, and followed in Edgar Snow’s intrepid footsteps 80 years earlier to then-remote Shaanxi Province, where modern China was forged.
