You are invited to attend an Unveiling Ceremony and Reception for a new painting by visiting Chinese artist Yidan Guo. This painting commemorates a historic meeting between Edgar Snow, Dr. E. Grey Dimond, and Mary Clark Dimond. The Dimonds were instrumental in the creation of the Edgar Snow Memorial Foundation, the UMKC School of Medicine, and Diastole Scholars’ Center. Meet the artist and learn more about the historical significance of this beautiful painting! Following the ceremony, a reception for the artist will be held in Miller-Nichols Library room 325. Refreshments will be served. Please register in advance to reserve your free e-ticket for this event.
